Introduction

You'll be working closely with the Senior Project Engineer and site teams to manage the technical and commercial delivery of works. The position will take ownership of programming, subcontractor coordination, cost tracking and quality compliance across active work fronts.

What are you going to do 

  • Manage daily programming and coordination of site works
  • Oversee subcontractors, plant, procurement and labour resources
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting and financial performance against budget
  • Prepare and manage variations, EOTs and commercial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards and safety requirements
  • Review construction methodologies and support site teams with technical guidance
  • Maintain QA systems, ITPs and project documentation
  • Work closely with supervisors and engineers to keep works on schedule

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 4 + years experience as a Site/Project Engineer in civil construction
  • Experience on road, bridge or major infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project costs
  • Proven ability coordinating subcontractors and multiple work fronts
  • Engineering or Construction Management qualification
  • Confident communicator able to lead engineers and site teams
  • Must be an Australian / NZ Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
