Brunel International is seeking a highly skilled Shutdown Senior Specialist Quality Control to join our dynamic team. What are you going to do 

As a Shutdown Senior Specialist Quality Control, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing quality control activities during shutdown periods. Your role will include developing inspection plans, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain the integrity of all quality processes and deliverables throughout the shutdown lifecycle. Your expertise will contribute to minimising downtime and maximising operational safety and efficiency.

Essential skills and knowledge 

List of Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality control within shutdown or turnaround projects, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors
  • Senior level expertise in quality assurance methodologies, inspection techniques, and compliance standards
  • Strong knowledge of Australian and international quality standards and regulations
  • Ability to lead and mentor quality control teams during high-pressure shutdown periods
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficient in preparing detailed quality reports, documentation, and audit records
  • Relevant qualifications in Quality Management, Engineering, or related fields
  • Willingness to work onsite during shutdowns, including extended hours and shifts as required
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
