I am on the hunt for a Senior Electrochemist to participate in the development of electrochemical technologies for a rapidly expanding, global green energy company.Step up and claim pole position in a global cutting-edge electrochemistry laboratory.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Provide technical input into current and all future designs
  • Develop new electrochemical methods for mineral processing and green chemistry
  • Develop analytical methods for process solutions used in electrochemical devices
  • Interface with engineering group to translate basic research into commercial systems and applications
  • Design, plan and conduct experiments and write technical report findings
  • Participate in documenting, testing, and supporting equipment
  • Ensure IP protection of developed methods and processes through translating scientific research into patents.
  • Lead the research and development of electrochemical devices development and materials evaluation in an R&D setting
  • Participate the delivery of Sustainability activities

A few must haves:

  • PhD in Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Materials Engineering or Electrochemical Chemical Engineering
  • Experience with electrochemistry, battery research, electrocatalysis, photovoltaics development or alike
  • Process design and optimisation experience
