Introduction

Join Woodside as a Senior Materials & Corrosion Engineer, supporting major projects, brownfields and operating assets. You'll provide key technical expertise across materials, inspection and integrity, influencing outcomes across a global portfolio while working closely with project and operational teams.

What are you going to do

Provide specialist technical expertise across materials, corrosion, coatings, welding & inspection
Support projects, brownfields and operating assets across Woodside's global portfolio
Deliver materials, inspection & corrosion scopes including planning, prioritisation and execution
Prepare and review technical deliverables (designs, specifications, scopes, MOC documentation)
Support contractors and vendors through design, procurement, fabrication & construction phases
Resolve complex engineering and operational materials / corrosion issues
Work closely with project teams, operations, SMEs and technical authorities
Contribute to integrity management, process safety and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential skills and knowledge

Degree in Materials Engineering or related discipline
Strong oil & gas / energy sector background
Proven experience across projects, brownfields & operating assets
Deep knowledge of industry codes, standards & regulatory requirements
Experience with coatings, NDT, pressure equipment & inspection
Strong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership capability
Certifications (API, NACE or similar) highly regarded
Must have full Australian Working Rights
