Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Sales who is responsible for overseas battery material business development especially in South Korea market. You will maintain current client relationship and develop new ones by actively travelling in South Korea.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead regional sales and business development efforts for South Korea and other countries focusing on accounts in the advanced battery ecosystem.
  • Cultivate and grow relationships with key regional customers and stakeholders, including auto OEMs, cell suppliers, eVTOL, drone manufacturers, and other partners.
  • Develop strategic plans for new business development and account expansion to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Manage customer acquisition across the end-to-end deal cycle through effective opportunity management, including lead qualification, deal prioritization, needs analysis, solution development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities to advance the company's objectives.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.
  • Regularly engage key internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to keep abreast of product evolution and company strategy; integrate them into the sales process at the opportune times; and ensure that product requirements translate into customer buying decisions
  • Actively leverage and use all internal systems and processes to ensure continuity and operational effectiveness

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 8+ years of experience in sales or business development within the battery material industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bachelor's or above in Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent written and verbal proficiency in Mandarin and Korea.
  • Willing to travel in South Korea frequently.
