Brunel International is a leading engineering and construction company, providing world-class services to clients in the energy, process and infrastructure sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team

What are you going to do 

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cost engineering functions, such as estimating, cost control, budget preparation, forecasting and cost reporting;
  • This position requires at least 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor working on a wide range of projects such as civil and infrastructure projects, refineries, oil plants, liquified natural gas plants, power plants, methanol gas plants and water systems (pipelines);
  • The successful candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering;
  • At least 10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor working on various projects;
  • Knowledge of cost engineering functions such as estimating, cost control, budget preparation and forecasting;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong problem solving skills.
