Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from engineering drawings and project specifications.
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations, claims, variation orders, and payment applications.
  • Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and monthly cost reporting.
  • Verify site measurements and assess completed work for payment certification.
  • Administer subcontract agreements and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Monitor project variations, change orders, and commercial risks.
  • Support contract administration, final account settlement, and dispute resolution.
  • Conduct cost analysis and recommend opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
  • Review manpower, equipment, and material costs against project budgets.
  • Track project progress and support commercial reporting to management.
  • Assist with tendering activities, bid evaluations, and commercial assessments.
  • Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of Quantity Surveying experience within Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, LNG, FLNG, FPSO, FSO, Shipyard, or EPC project environments.
  • Proven experience in Bills of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control.
  • Strong experience in subcontract administration, variation orders, claims management, contract administration, and final account settlement.
  • Experience supporting fabrication, modularization, offshore topsides, vessel conversion, brownfield modifications, or marine construction projects.
  • Experience working on FLNG, FPSO, LNG, offshore platform, rig conversion, vessel upgrade, shipbuilding, or major EPC projects.
  • Understanding of project commercial management, cost forecasting, progress valuation, and monthly cost reporting.
  • Ability to review and evaluate subcontractor quotations, claims, payment applications, and change orders.
  • Experience working with shipyards, offshore contractors, EPC contractors, vessel owners, or energy operators.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple stakeholders
