Introduction

What are you going to do 

The RoleYour primary focus will be operating heavy production machinery to meet site targets safely. Duties include:

  • Operating 3600 and 5600 production excavators.

  • Safe and efficient loading of haul trucks.

  • Exposure to Komatsu Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) .

  • Conducting pre-start inspections and daily equipment checks.

  • Liaising with supervisors, dispatch, and production personnel.

  • Maintaining equipment per site procedures and reporting requirements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

About YouTo hit the ground running, you must possess:

  • Proven experience operating 3600 and/or 5600 excavators in a production environment.

  • Exposure to Komatsu Autonomous Haulage systems (highly regarded).

  • A strong understanding of safe mining practices.

  • Current Australian "C" Class Manual Driver's Licence.

  • Valid National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).

  • Excellent communication and a reliable work ethic.
