What are you going to do 

Job Summary:

Act as a Principal Safety Analysis Engineer expert or approver, responsible for developing and reviewing execution strategies, implementation plans, interface management, baseline data, risk control, and specialized design solutions for the Safety Analysis discipline. Ensure the quality of design deliverables, identify potential project risks, and formulate appropriate mitigation measures.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the technical specification for safety study and loss and prevention, and assist in completing the bid evaluation, clarification and briefing of the safety study;
  • Organize and coordinate safety study workshop discussions such as HAZID and HAZOP Review of third-party safety study reports, tracking of comments, and closure review loss and prevention design drawings and documents
  • Preparation, tracking, and closure of the HSE register, and preparation of close-out reports related to safety analysis;
  • Communicate with the Client and close out comments related to safety study;
  • Communicate and coordinate with relevant discipline on matters related for safety study;
  • Fire fighting equipment procurement technical support; fabrication and construction support
  • Other temporary assignments as and when required by Company.

Education/Experience Requirements/ Certification:

  • Bachelor degree or above, with a senior professional title;
  • More than 15 years of experience in offshore engineering (offshore platform, FPSO and semi-submersible platform, etc.) safety design.
  • Master the principles, methods, and processes of international mainstream security analysis and workshops, and have the ability to independently organize relevant security analysis and workshops.
  • Proficient in mastering international mainstream safety and fire protection design standards such as API and NFPA.
  • Proficient in the development of conventional safety and fire protection plans and system design in the petroleum and petrochemical industry, and flexible application.
  • Work diligently, rigorously, with a strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, and can work overtime according to work needs;
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills, able to organize relevant personnel to solve problems and communicate with others;
  • Proficient in using common office and drawing software.
