What are you going to do 

We are seeking a competent and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support and optimise maintenance operations for offshore FLNG assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, and continuous improvement of maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and operational support for offshore maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and marine systems
  • Review and optimise preventive and corrective maintenance strategies within CMMS (e.g., Maximo)
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory, regulatory, and class requirements
  • Plan, prioritise, and schedule maintenance work orders in coordination with operations and offshore teams
  • Support shutdown and turnaround planning, including work scope definition, scheduling, and tracking of execution
  • Monitor maintenance performance and implement improvements to enhance asset reliability and availability
  • Conduct criticality assessments, risk-based inspection (RBI) updates, and barrier management activities
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely execution of maintenance works
  • Support spare parts planning and inventory readiness for operations and shutdowns
  • Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years relevant engineering experience, with at least 2 years in offshore FLNG maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo), and reliability engineering principles
  • Familiar with preventive maintenance, shutdown planning, and work order management
  • Working knowledge of risk-based inspection (RBI), asset integrity, and maintenance optimisation
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external contractors
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Specialisation in Reliability / RAMS Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience supporting FLNG operations or offshore production assets
  • Background in incident investigation and safety management systems
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)
