Brunel are currently looking for multiple underground heavy vehicle fitters for our clients busy mine in Cobar NSW with relocation, DIDO and FIFO options from any major city across QLD, Victoria and NSW.

What are you going to do 

Brunel are currently looking for multiple underground Heavy Vehicle Tradespeople for our clients underground mine in Cobar NSW.

  • Roster:7/7 or 14/14 (Day & Night Shift)
  • Location: Peak Mine - Cobar, NSW
  • TravelOptions: Resident, DIDO or FIFO

Relocation Support we offer relocation support of up to $10,000 for those wanting to live locally in Cobar.

DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site, you receive a travel allowance.

FIFO from Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Trade Certificate - Heavy Diesel Fitter or equivalentStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read pneumatic, electrical, & hydraulic schematics
Strong commitment to safety Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in underground mining

Experience with underground mobile plant:

  • Sandvik Jumbos
  • CAT Loaders
  • ITS
  • Epiroc Haul Trucks
  • Volvo Graders
  • Agi Trucks
  • Spray Rigs
  • Normet Shotcreter
