We are seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer to support our client with the installation, operation, and maintenance of water treatment systems. This role suits candidates with 3 years of experience, who are keen to develop hands-on technical and customer-facing skills in an industrial environment.
You will work within defined procedures to resolve moderately complex issues, provide on-site technical support, and contribute to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support to customers in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of Veolia systems
- Interpret operational data and deliver technical guidance and instructions to customers
- Support troubleshooting activities and perform basic fault analysis
- Report service activities, customer issues, and equipment performance trends in a timely and structured manner
- Assist in identifying recurring issues and recommend improvements
- Support maintenance reviews and highlight training needs where necessary
- Act as a point of contact for assigned customer sites, ensuring service delivery standards are met
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term engagement
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to execute service plans effectively
- Ensure all assigned KPIs and service standards are achieved
- Promote safe work practices and ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent
- Min 3 years of experience in field service, preferably in water treatment or industrial environments
- Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, or EHS will be an added advantage
- good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to perform site-based work involving frequent walking and physical activity
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn
