Introduction

Brunel International is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineer QA/QC to join our dynamic team FIFO to PNG. This role is crucial in supporting the implementation and administration of the project quality management system across all disciplines, ensuring that quality standards are consistently met throughout the project lifecycle.

What are you going to do 

As an Engineer QA/QC at Brunel International, you will coordinate QA/QC activities across various project work fronts, supporting audits, inspections, and surveillance programmes to uphold quality standards. You will be responsible for managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality reporting to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Maintaining comprehensive project quality records and documentation will be integral to your role, as will supporting contractor quality performance management to achieve project objectives.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Engineering qualification from a recognised institution.
  • Proven experience in QA/QC roles on major construction or mining projects.
  • Strong skills in documentation and reporting, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage quality assurance activities across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience in supporting audits, inspections, and surveillance programmes.
  • Proficient in managing NCRs, corrective actions, and quality reporting processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with contractors and project personnel.
  • Familiarity with project quality management systems and standards.
