Introduction

Brunel International is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineer Mechanical & Piping Quality to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) are maintained throughout mechanical, structural, piping, and associated construction activities on major projects.

What are you going to do 

As an Engineer Mechanical & Piping Quality, you will provide essential QA/QC support across mechanical, structural, and piping disciplines during construction phases. Your responsibilities will include verifying compliance with project specifications and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), coordinating inspection and quality surveillance activities, and managing all quality documentation and turnover dossiers. You will also play a key role in supporting non-conformance report (NCR) management and the implementation of corrective actions. Participation in commissioning and handover activities will ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Mechanical Engineering qualification from a recognised institution.
  • Proven QA/QC experience on major construction projects, preferably within mechanical and piping disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and piping construction activities, standards, and quality requirements.
  • Ability to verify compliance with project specifications and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Experience coordinating inspections, quality surveillance, and managing quality documentation.
  • Skilled in supporting NCR management and corrective action processes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with commissioning and handover procedures is advantageous.
