Our client, a leader in delivering exceptional projects, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Commissioning Engineer (Completion) to join their esteemed team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to oversee system completion, turnover processes, and ensure compliance with industry-leading standards in one of the world's most dynamic markets.

Key Responsibilities:

The Commissioning Engineer (Completion) is responsible for managing system completion activities, ensuring all construction and commissioning deliverables are verified, documented, handed over in a structured and traceable manner. The role focuses on completion management systems, punch listing and system turnover to operations in compliance with ADNOC standards and project requirements.
Plan and execute system completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
Manage Mechanical Completion (MC) dossiers and ensure readiness for handovers.
Coordinate system/subsystem handover between construction, commissioning and operations teams.
Prepare and track punch lists (A/B/C categories) and ensure timely closure.
Maintain and update completion management systems (e.g. ICAPS, WINPCS or equivalent).
Review and verify test packs, check sheets and commissioning documentation.
Ensure compliance with client standards (e.g. ADNOC), project specifications and QA/QC requirements.
Liaise with construction, QA/QC, engineering and client representatives for system readiness.
Monitor and report commissioning progress, KPIs and system status.
Support start-up and handover to operations.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Chemical preferred).
5-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas completion/commissioning roles.
Experience in EPC/EPCM commissioning and completions.
GCC Work Experience is mandatory.
