What are you going to do 

Our client, a leader in delivering exceptional projects, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Commissioning Engineer (Completion) to join their esteemed team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to oversee system completion, turnover processes, and ensure compliance with industry-leading standards in one of the world's most dynamic markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Commissioning Engineer (Completion) is responsible for managing system completion activities, ensuring all construction and commissioning deliverables are verified, documented, handed over in a structured and traceable manner. The role focuses on completion management systems, punch listing and system turnover to operations in compliance with ADNOC standards and project requirements.
  • Plan and execute system completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
  • Manage Mechanical Completion (MC) dossiers and ensure readiness for handovers.
  • Coordinate system/subsystem handover between construction, commissioning and operations teams.
  • Prepare and track punch lists (A/B/C categories) and ensure timely closure.
  • Maintain and update completion management systems (e.g. ICAPS, WINPCS or equivalent).
  • Review and verify test packs, check sheets and commissioning documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with client standards (e.g. ADNOC), project specifications and QA/QC requirements.
  • Liaise with construction, QA/QC, engineering and client representatives for system readiness.
  • Monitor and report commissioning progress, KPIs and system status.
  • Support start-up and handover to operations.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Chemical preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas completion/commissioning roles.
  • Experience in EPC/EPCM commissioning and completions.
  • GCC Work Experience is mandatory.
