Introduction

Brunel has an exciting long-term contract opportunity for a Commissioning Completions Manager supporting our client who is a leading global mining and metals company.

This contract position will work on-site in Bagdad, Arizona, the working week is Monday through Friday, on a 4-week on-site/1-week at home not working rotational schedule. Travel accommodations, transportation, and a monthly stipend will be included.

What are you going to do 

The Completion Manager - Commissioning is responsible for managing the system completion process, ensuring that all Construction, pre-commissioning (mechanical completion), and commissioning activities are properly tracked, documented, and handed over in accordance with project requirements.

This role oversees the implementation and management of completion systems (e.g., Completions Management System - CMS), ensuring all systems, subsystems, and equipment are tested, documented, and accepted in a structured and traceable manner to enable safe and efficient plant start-up.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline) (or equivalent 5 years of field experience)

Experience

  • Minimum 12-18 years of experience in EPC projects
  • At least 5-7 years in completions or commissioning management roles
  • Extensive experience in large-scale industrial projects (mining, oil & gas, power, smelter, etc.)
  • Proven experience managing completion systems and handover processes.

  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
