What are you going to do 

As the Civil Estimator, you will play a key role in securing future projects by preparing accurate, competitive and commercially sound tenders. You will work closely with senior management, project teams and subcontractors to develop detailed pricing submissions across a diverse range of civil scopes.

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
  • Pricing earthworks, drainage, utilities and concrete packages
  • Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotes
  • Identifying risks and opportunities within tender documents
  • Supporting bid clarifications and negotiations

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience estimating within civil construction
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, earthworks, drainage and structural concrete works
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
