Introduction

Brunel is currently searching for a Business Development Manager for direct hire with our client who supports the Mining industry.

What are you going to do 

This role will be a remote, work from home position and we are seeking someone locate in Wyoming, Utah, Colorado or Idaho as the sales region covered will be the Western U.S.

The BDM will be working with both assigned accounts, as well as developing new, to help further develop and execute sales strategies and build customer relationships that will increase market share, manage sales performance, volumes and gross profit.

Duties included but not limited to:

  • Travel to mining clients throughout the Western U.S. with direct sales responsibility related to large components sales to owner/operators.
  • Support equipment brokering opportunities.
  • Perform equipment inspections.
  • Work with GM on acquiring equipment and components needed.
  • Will have direct sales responsibilities related to larger component sales opportunities.
  • Meets or exceeds assigned targets for profitable growth, market share expansion and other KPI's.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience within the mining industry with knowledge of mining equipment maintenance.
  • Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per month (approximately 30%), some of which may include international travel.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Technical understanding of mining equipment products and components.
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, interpersonal.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in all MS Office applications.
  • Valid Driver's license and passport required.
  • Professional demeanor with high degree of integrity.
  • Relationship driven sales demeanor with a problem solver mentality.
  • Safety driven mindset, MSHA certification preferred.
  • Must reside in the Western U.S. states and be eligible to work for any employer.

Position offers a base salary along with up to 30% annual bonus which is tied to KPI's and sales. Full comprehensive benefits that start first of month following hire. Company truck or car allowance. 401K match, 3 weeks PTO, 1 week sick, and paid holidays.
