What are you going to do 

FIFO from Brisbane or Sydney | 7/7 Roster | Long-Term Opportunity

You'll be hands-on with state-of-the-art autonomous loaders, trucks, and drills, ensuring their smooth operation, maintenance, and optimisation. Using your electrical, control systems, and automation know how, you'll keep production moving while working closely with OEM specialists and site teams to push technology to new limits.

Your Impact

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot autonomous mining vehicles and systems

  • Carry out diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on electrical and control components

  • Support system upgrades, calibrations, and infrastructure improvements

  • Share your expertise by training and mentoring other maintenance personnel

  • Always put safety first, ensuring compliance with site and industry standards

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Electrical or Auto Electrical trade qualification (or strong technical background)

  • Experience with autonomous or remote-operated mining equipment

  • Sandvik AutoMine experience highly regarded

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret complex schematics

  • A safety-first mindset and a collaborative approach
