What are you going to do 

  • Support survey set-out and as-built activities across active civil construction projects
  • Upload, maintain and validate survey data within GPS and machine control systems
  • Convert digital models and design files into GPS-compatible formats
  • Assist with maintaining survey models, set-out information and project data
  • Review plans and specifications to ensure accurate survey delivery
  • Coordinate survey activities with site teams, machinery operators and contractors
  • Support the maintenance and management of survey equipment and software
  • Maintain strong safety, quality and compliance standards across all survey activities

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Experience within surveying, civil construction or infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of survey processes, GPS systems and machine control technology
  • Experience using survey software such as 12d, TBC, AutoCAD or similar
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications
  • Effective planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science or a related discipline highly regarded
