We’re hiring Sr / Principal Technical Professional – Piping (Coating/Insulation/Fireproof) for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Chennai.

What are you going to do

Position: Sr / Principal Technical Professional – Piping (Coating/Insulation/Fireproof)

YOE: Min 15 years.

Contract: Permanent Role.

Location: Chennai.

Essential skills and knowledge

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in protective coatings, thermal and acoustic insulation, and passive fire protection for LNG, Ammonia, Petrochemical, specialty chemical and refining industries;
Experienced in: supervision and managing technical queries from multiple projects, heat transfer calculations; vendor design reviews; preparation of specifications and standards; materials management; developing engineering and construction estimates; managing engineering budgets; procurement and subcontract bid preparation; evaluation and recommendation of materials; application methods of variety of coating applications; responding to construction field RFIs;
Must have experience in Insulation Systems for Cryogenic and High Temperature Applications and Protective Coatings for LNG and Refinery applications;
Preferred experience also in Passive Fire Protection, Equipment Linings and applications in Marine / Hostile environments.
