Introduction

Brunel is working with a major Energy company looking for a Site Manager to join their team for an 18-month contract that can turn into a permanent position. This role is based in their office in Houston, TX but will require travels to Ingleside, TX 80% of the time.

What are you going to do 

• Scheduling daily work for the team around customer activities • Performing the onsite EHS lead and ensuring all processes are followed and documented • Responsible for cost management • Collecting and reviewing all site reports and timesheets, gaining customer signatures and issuing to the project manager. • Coordinating with resource managers to build sitework resource schedule • Logistics for receiving and sending material and test equipment to and from the customer site • Fault find, service and commission the company's integrated automation systems. • Learn the latest industrial solutions and new product developments within the company • Must be proficient in planning workload and specific tasks and be able to achieve completion dates. • Interface directly to customers to answer questions and resolve issues. • Able to understand project-specific documentation (system and functional descriptions, test and commissioning procedures, etc.). • Collaborate with CAD and designers to test, commission, troubleshoot, and/or update integrated system drawings. • The role is based in Houston but for the first 18 months they will need to travel to work in Corpus Christi / Ingleside, TX 80% of the time.

Essential skills and knowledge 

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Marine or a related industry is required • BS in Engineering is preferred. Electrical engineering preferred, but other fields may be considered. • Willing and able to travel to Ingleside, TX 80% of the time for the first 18 months on rotation. • Automation system design, service, commissioning experience • Marine, Drilling or Offshore production working experience. • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees may be eligible for internal transfers.
