Introduction

Brunel is partnering with a respected Tier 2 commercial builder to appoint a Site Manager for the delivery of a $17 million education facility in West Brisbane. This is a ground-up build requiring someone with demonstrated experience managing complex projects in the education sector.

What are you going to do 

You will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, maintaining program delivery, and upholding high standards of safety and quality. This project is supported by a well-structured delivery team and a builder known for delivering institutional and commercial projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure program alignment and quality outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and QA standards
  • Monitor progress and address potential risks or delays
  • Liaise with internal teams, consultants and suppliers to maintain clear communication and resolve issues promptly

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Site Manager on commercial or education builds
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects valued at $10 million or more
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant construction legislation and safety systems
  • Current QBCC Site Supervisor or Builder Licence
  • Experience in education, institutional or D&C environments is preferred
