Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Accountant or Finance Manager who is ready to step into a broader leadership role, with a clear pathway to Chief Financial Officer.

What are you going to do 

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Support strategic planning and provide commercial insights to drive business performance
  • Maintain compliance with tax and regulatory obligations
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
  • Improve internal processes, systems, and reporting tools (ERP experience valued)
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and advisors
  • Work directly with directors and key decision-makers
  • Contribute to long-term financial strategy and organisational growth

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar role
  • Background in construction, property, or project-based industries is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, controls, and reporting
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute at both strategic and operational levels
  • Commercially astute with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
