What are you going to do 

  • Supervise quality requirements across all project phases, including inspection, testing, and compliance to project specifications.
  • Monitor and verify quality control activities and completed inspections.
  • Manage and resolve site quality issues with stakeholders; provide solutions to technical inspection challenges.
  • Ensure timely closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), organize NCR meetings, and prepare regular analysis and reports.
  • Conduct project-related quality training (e.g., engineering induction, procurement quality, manufacturer quality).
  • Liaise with third-party inspectors (TPI) and the Client to coordinate onshore inspection activities.
  • Establish and maintain project quality systems and procedures in line with client standards.
  • Prepare and review quality plans, procedures, technical documents, and inspection records.
  • Review and approve quality-related sections of procurement and subcontract agreements.
  • Lead quality team recruitment, interviews, and KPI performance tracking.
  • Prepare audit reports, follow up on closures, and submit weekly/monthly quality reports to the Client.
  • Support project meetings with quality-related presentations and input.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, or telecommunication projects.
  • Lead Auditor certification from IRCA, RABQSA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years in a management role, with proven ability to establish, operate, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with international standards.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct inspection experience in construction activities.Strong ability to develop and implement quality systems, quality plans, and inspection procedures.
  • Professional qualifications in piping, pipelines, or mechanical engineering.
  • Welding inspection certification (e.g., CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, IWE, or equivalent).
  • ASNT-TC-1A Level II or PCN (or equivalent) required.
  • Strong leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
