What are you going to do 

Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Planning and Control Engineer to support large-scale Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in project planning, scheduling, and controls, with hands-on experience in FPSO construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Review contracts and understand overall project strategy to ensure accurate planning evaluations of the work scope.
  • Support project planning teams on site, receive and analyze planning/control data, and identify potential risks or delays.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the management team.
  • Participate in planning and related meetings to stay updated on project concerns.
  • Review reports, schedules, and data issuances related to site scope, alerting management to any inconsistencies or anomalies.
  • Liaise between Planning and Construction/Assembly teams to ensure site activities align with the latest updated plan and schedule.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and similar planning tools.
  • Strong knowledge of project management concepts (WBS, risks, schedules, KPIs, control curves).
  • Proven experience in developing and adjusting schedules for large or complex projects.
  • Skilled in Critical Path Method (CPM) reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to prepare daily/weekly reports and monitor activities.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Previous experience in FPSO construction and commissioning is required.
