Introduction

What are you going to do 

You will play a key role in the pre-construction team, leading major bids and working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, and subcontractors.

  • Lead estimating on projects valued between $100M and $200M

  • Prepare first-principles estimates and detailed cost plans

  • Manage subcontractor pricing and tender negotiations

  • Identify value engineering and risk opportunities

  • Contribute to bid strategy and tender presentations

  • Mentor junior estimators within the team

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience as a Senior Estimator with an Australian head contractor
  • Strong background in large-scale new build commercial projects
  • Experience on projects $150M+
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in industry estimating software (CostX, Cubit, or similar)
