Introduction

What are you going to do 

The Senior Contracts Administrator will take ownership of the contractual and commercial administration of major projects, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to keep everything running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage contracts, variations, claims, notices and project correspondence
  • Provide commercial and contractual support to the project team, including risk and compliance
  • Oversee subcontractor contracts, documentation, claims and payment processes
  • Maintain accurate project records, approvals, correspondence and commercial documentation
  • Mentor and lead the wider Contracts Administration team
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams

Essential skills and knowledge 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 7-10 years' experience in Contracts Administration within commercial construction
  • Proven experience delivering high value commercial projects across Australia
  • Experience working on projects valued at $50M+
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills across clients, consultants and subcontractors
  • A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership in a fast paced project environment
  • Must have local Australian experience
