Introduction

Brunel is partnering with a leading operator to source a highly experienced Senior Completion Engineer. This is a key role supporting multiple major project scopes across both Development and Operations phases, primarily focused on assurance and completions strategy. Candidates with strong exposure to high-rate gas wells and subsea completions are strongly encouraged to apply.

What are you going to do 

  • Deliver assurance support across multiple well scopes
  • Contribute to completion engineering design and execution plans
  • Coordinate with subsurface, subsea and facility teams to drive integrated well delivery
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability development

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Engineering degree
  • 10-15+ years' experience in Completions Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with an Owner/Operator (mandatory)
  • Extensive assurance activity exposure
  • Experience across both completion design and execution (subsea focus)
  • High-rate gas wells experience
  • Familiarity with sand control (gravel packs, ESS, screens)
  • Exposure to smart well design
  • Proven leadership in well design/execution teams
  • Cross-functional integration capability
  • Strong communication skills and mentoring experience
  • Highly Desirable: Experience with haul-over gravel package, Prior involvement in Scarborough or GWF-4 projects
