Introduction

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Lead to join our team in Papua, Indonesia. As the Safety Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the adherence to occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations within our mining operations, with a strong emphasis on compliance with SMKP and HSE systems.

What are you going to do 

The Safety Lead will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of safety protocols, managing liquid and hazardous waste in alignment with regulatory standards, conducting audits, preparing HSE reports, providing training programs, and collaborating with various teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Essential skills and knowledge 

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or heavy industry sector
- Proficiency in SMKP and SMK3 audit processes- Expertise in industrial waste management and process safety
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams- Experience in preparing technical reports and regulatory documentation
