Introduction

This position offers autonomy and flexibility where you'll plan your own week, work closely with project and site teams, and play a key role in maintaining and improving safety performance across a range of civil projects.You'll be responsible for providing safety leadership and support across multiple active sites, ensuring compliance with company and client WHS requirements.

What are you going to do

Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox meetings
Coach and support supervisors and crews on safety standards and compliance
Review and assist with SWMS, incident investigations, and corrective actions
Ensure adherence to WHS legislation and company procedures
Drive continuous improvement in safety systems and culture

Essential skills and knowledge

Previous experience in a safety role within civil construction or infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance practices
Excellent communication and coaching skills
Ability to work independently across regional sites
Must be an Australian or NZ Citizen or have permanent residency
