Introduction

  • Assist and Review Quality Managements Systems / Plans
  • Review Quality Managements Systems / Plans submitted by consultants and ensure their compliance against the contractual requirements.
  • Monitor the implementation and the effectiveness of the Quality & Risk Management Plans
  • Carry out necessary inspection on consultants work activities to ensure consultants with all contractual obligations related to quality.
  • Review inspection and test plan submitted by consultants and monitor its proper implementation
  • Support the Designs Department during internal Audits and Assessments conducted by the Planning & Quality Department, State Audit Bureau etc.
  • Assist Internal assessments / audits of Departments' compliance against the ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Assist auditing and measuring the Performance of Design Consultants
  • Review Consultants QA/QC Reports, Non-Conformities (NCR) / Observation and inspection records
  • Raise Non-Conformities (NCR) reports as and when required
  • Ensure to maintain Policies, Quality Manuals, processes and procedures.
  • Ensure and facilitate the utilization of APMS by the Designs Department
  • Coordinate with Area Team Leads, Consultants and other relevant department with respect to QA/QC Activities

What are you going to do 

  • Provide technical QA/QC advice and guidance in relation to complex, high risk and/or new cross-functional work activities to ensure requirements are satisfied
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
  • Identify and promote relevant quality training needs
  • Raise any issues that require consideration to the Engineering Advisor / Expert for advice on actions/recommendations.
  • Assist and review Technical Construction and Design specifications
  • Assist and review Standard Detail Drawings
  • Assist the development of corporate policies and identify, analyze, and develop End to End business processes towards accomplishing business goals specific for the organization.
  • Apply excellence initiatives, and train & educate business users that are responsible for the operation and management of various business processes & lead the redesigned processes based on lessons learned
  • Measure business process effectiveness and efficiency by introducing and measuring the appropriate KPIs in line with PWA's corporate objectives
  • Reflect Innovation, Change, continuous improvement, and Transformation Management into business processes - Business process re-engineering.
  • Deploy Digital Transformation - Information Governance Strategy - Information Lifecycle - Data Quality -Compliance and Security - Data Ownership - Protection of Personal Data and Access to Information Stakeholder Engagement Continuous Improvement Business Intelligence Governance.
  • Assist the development and strengthen the Governance, Management Systems and Processes of the organization to improve the performance and create Value for Stakeholders - Business Excellence (BE) - Recognized by EFQM model 2023

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • BSc degree from an accredited University
  • Minimum of a combined 7 years of proven experience working for Contractors, QC Laboratories & Supervision / Consultants/Authority
  • IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certificate Mandatory
  • The ability to produce Executives reports is compulsory
  • Strong communication, organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills ideally including work within the Middle East
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders and staff at all levels within the Organization
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English is mandatory
