Introduction

Brunel International is seeking a Project Procurement Lead for a 12-month renewable contract based in Rotterdam, starting in September. Join a global specialist in advanced offshore production systems, where you will oversee procurement and supply chain activities to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of high-quality equipment and materials within complex projects.

What are you going to do

Responsibilities:

Manage procurement and supply chain packages, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets.
Your role includes developing procurement and tendering strategies, leading commercial and contractual negotiations, and managing supplier relationships to drive performance improvements.
You will coordinate closely with engineering and project teams, monitor purchase order execution, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
Continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process will be a key focus to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience managing supply chain packages for complex projects, including offshore, onshore, or subsea equipment.
Strong contract management and negotiation skills, especially with high-value, technically detailed contracts.
Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software for tracking procurement and schedules.
Knowledge of industry standards and compliance in oil and gas procurement and supply chain operations.
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet deadlines under pressure.
