Introduction

Brunel International is seeking a Project Procurement Lead for a 12-month renewable contract based in Rotterdam, starting in September. Join a global specialist in advanced offshore production systems, where you will oversee procurement and supply chain activities to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of high-quality equipment and materials within complex projects.

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement and supply chain packages, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets.
  • Your role includes developing procurement and tendering strategies, leading commercial and contractual negotiations, and managing supplier relationships to drive performance improvements.
  • You will coordinate closely with engineering and project teams, monitor purchase order execution, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process will be a key focus to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing supply chain packages for complex projects, including offshore, onshore, or subsea equipment.
  • Strong contract management and negotiation skills, especially with high-value, technically detailed contracts.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software for tracking procurement and schedules.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance in oil and gas procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet deadlines under pressure.
