What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery
Oversee end-to-end project planning, programming, and execution.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
Monitor progress against key milestones and adjust schedules as needed.
Financial Management
Conduct monthly assessments and forecasts of project financial performance.
Manage budgets, cost tracking, and reporting to ensure profitability.
Identify and mitigate financial risks early in the project lifecycle.
Team & Subcontractor Coordination
Lead and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment.
Ensure high performance across all delivery partners and trades.
Resolve site issues promptly to maintain momentum and quality.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, consultants, and service authorities.
Represent the business professionally in all external communications and meetings.
Ensure stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded throughout the project.
Leadership & Staff Development
Coach, mentor, and train junior staff and site supervisors.
Address performance issues constructively and foster a positive team culture.
Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.

Essential skills and knowledge

Proven experience managing subdivision or civil infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of local council processes and utility coordination.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or similar.
