Introduction

Brunel are seeking a Project Manager to join an established SEQ Builder's team and deliver a newly secured industrial projects in North Brisbane.

With a strong reputation across the commercial and industrial sectors, the business has built its success on repeat clients, quality delivery and a hands-on approach from senior leadership. Following continued growth and a strong forward pipeline, they are now looking to strengthen their project delivery capability with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager.

This opportunity will suit either an established Project Manager seeking greater autonomy and influence, or a Senior Project Manager looking to join a business where career progression is directly aligned with company growth.

What are you going to do 

Reporting directly to senior management, you will take ownership of projects from procurement through to completion, ensuring successful outcomes across programme, commercial performance, quality and client satisfaction.

Current projects include industrial facilities and warehouse developments across North Brisbane, with a strong pipeline of future work already secured.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall project leadership from pre-construction through to handover
  • Management of project budgets, forecasting and financial performance
  • Contract administration and procurement of subcontractors
  • Programme development and project scheduling
  • Management of consultants, authorities and client stakeholders
  • Leadership and support of site-based delivery teams
  • Driving safety, quality and programme outcomes
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Experience delivering new build industrial & commercial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodology, contracts and project controls
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets and financial reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A proactive leadership style and commitment to project outcomes
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
