The role

You'll play a key part in delivering complex commercial fit-out projects, taking ownership from early stages through to completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting procurement, including scopes of work and assessing variations
  • Working closely with the Design Manager to improve buildability and drive efficiency
  • Managing design and construction coordination with consultants
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
  • Preparing and tracking programmes, budgets and progress
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Working closely with Supervisors around site logistics, sequencing and subcontractors
  • Assisting with project handover, defects and client coordination
  • Supporting sustainability targets (e.g. NABERS / Green Star where applicable)
  • Experience in a Project Engineer role within commercial construction (fit-out experience highly regarded)
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Proactive and team-oriented approach to delivery
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
