Introduction

The Project Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement process for specific projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining a keen focus on quality and compliance. The Project Buyer will play a critical role in supporting the success of our projects by optimizing the supply chain and driving efficiency.

What are you going to do 

  • Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for various projects.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement activities.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist in a project-based environment
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of contract management and supplier relationship management
