Job Summary
Participate in the engineering, procurement, and manufacturing process of equipment/material, from RFQ to shipment, controlling and managing vendor quality issues (TBE, PO, KOM, PIM, weekly meetings, and manufacturing, including In-progress Inspection, FAT, and Final Inspection).
Principal Responsibilities
- To become familiar with the company's NDT requirements.
- Support the procurement department and participate in various meetings with the Vendor/Company to ensure the product packages are met and compliance with the project specifications / Standard and Code requirements.
- Must be able to develop the NDT procedure. Review and comment on vendor NDT (RT / UT / MPI / PT / PAUT / TOFD etc.) documents
- Communicate with the vendor/COMPANY regarding controversial comments or feedback, raise a clarification meeting if necessary.
- Proactive and liaise with TPC coordinator and update the vendor package progress status information to Engineering/Procurement and Client
- Review and comment TPC inspection report
- Manage the NCR if discrepancies are identified and expedite the vendor's resolution proposal / RCA (If necessary) within 3 working days of receiving NCR by vendor.
- Review the manufacturer's record book / As-built dossier.
Education/Experience Requirements / Certification
- Shall have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
- Shall have a minimum of ten years and above (10) experience directly relating to the Quality Assurance procurement execution and vendor inspection activities.
- Shall have knowledge and understanding of ISO-9001 quality system requirements and implementation.
- Shall demonstrate working knowledge of international standards and codes required by the purchase order, such as API, ASME V / VIII / IX, ASTM, etc.
- Availability of certification of ISO 9712 (PCN) or ASNT RT/UT/MPI/PT Level 3. PAUT/TOFD Level 3 will be added value.
