Introduction

This role will support moderate to high-risk engineering and construction projects, with responsibility for project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, reporting, and schedule risk management. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:* Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules
* Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule* Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks or delays
* Analyze critical path activities and recommend recovery plans or mitigations* Support change management processes related to schedule and scope changes
* Participate in project meetings and provide schedule updates and reporting* Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction teams
* Manage baseline schedules, forecasting, and progress measurement activities* Participate in project risk identification and mitigation planning
* Mentor and support other planning and scheduling team members

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience
OR* High School Diploma/GED with 15+ years of relevant project controls or construction experience
* Minimum 6 years in a leadership role within project controls, planning, or scheduling* Strong experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
* Experience working on heavy industrial or mining construction projects preferred* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
* Experience supporting large capital or mega projects preferred
