What are you going to do

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Site Piping & Valve Engineer to act as the vital link between home-office engineering and on-site construction execution.
You will ensure the technical integrity of all piping and valve systems throughout construction, pre-commissioning, and mechanical completion.
Your collaboration with EPC contractors, QA/QC teams, and commissioning stakeholders will be key to successful project delivery.
Responsibilities include providing daily technical support, interpreting engineering deliverables, managing contractor queries, supporting construction and commissioning activities

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements:

Engineering degree in Mechanical, Piping, Petroleum, or equivalent discipline.
Minimum 10 years' experience in piping and valve engineering on major oil & gas projects, particularly LNG.
Strong expertise in piping design, valve systems (including cryogenic and large-bore valves), stress and vibration analysis, fabrication, welding, testing, and construction methods.
Proficient with engineering documentation including P&IDs, isometrics, 3D models, and construction workflows
Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Portuguese or French is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a remote site environment with strict health and safety protocols.
