What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a Site Piping & Valve Engineer to act as the vital link between home-office engineering and on-site construction execution.
  • You will ensure the technical integrity of all piping and valve systems throughout construction, pre-commissioning, and mechanical completion.
  • Your collaboration with EPC contractors, QA/QC teams, and commissioning stakeholders will be key to successful project delivery.
  • Responsibilities include providing daily technical support, interpreting engineering deliverables, managing contractor queries, supporting construction and commissioning activities

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Piping, Petroleum, or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in piping and valve engineering on major oil & gas projects, particularly LNG.
  • Strong expertise in piping design, valve systems (including cryogenic and large-bore valves), stress and vibration analysis, fabrication, welding, testing, and construction methods.
  • Proficient with engineering documentation including P&IDs, isometrics, 3D models, and construction workflows
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Portuguese or French is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote site environment with strict health and safety protocols.
