Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Supervise piping fabrication, installation and testing activities in accordance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate daily piping works with construction, engineering, QA/QC and commissioning teams.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
  • Review work packs, drawings, isometrics and method statements before execution.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, international standards and yard procedures.
  • Plan manpower, equipment and material requirements.
  • Participate in inspections, punch listing and mechanical completion activities.
  • Resolve construction issues and report project progress to management.
  • Ensure all work complies with HSSE requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of piping construction experience in offshore, marine, FPSO or oil & gas projects.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory position.
  • Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, erection and testing.
  • Able to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings and GA drawings.
  • Familiar with mechanical completion and commissioning activities.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work in Tuas Bay Yard.
