Introduction

We’re hiring Piping Engineer for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Mumbai.

What are you going to do 

  • Position: Piping Engineer;
  • YOE: 5 to 12 Years;
  • Contract: Permanent;
  • Location: Mumbai.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Should have good knowledge of piping layout engineering, experience of fired heater related piping in refinery / oil & Gas sector would be an added advantage;
  • Should have worked as piping lead / area lead engineer for oil & gas and refinery projects;
  • Should have detailed knowledge of piping layout engineering, material specification and pipe stress analysis;
  • Must have experience of extraction of BOM from P&ID, checking of BOM, updation and maintaining BOM revisions deltas; Should be familiar with piping layout study, according to design basis and plant layout;
  • Must be familiar with industry codes and standards;
  • Should be familiar with some of the 2D-3D design software's like SP3D, PDS, PDMS, and CAD Worx Auto CAD etc.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree in mechanical / Chemical Engineering. Diploma in piping;
  • Experience: 5 to 12 Years;
  • Should have good knowledge & experience of piping layout engineering in refinery project. Should have worked are area lead or lead engineer in project. Knowledge of material specifications and 3D modelling would be preferred.
