Introduction

Brunel is looking for an Offshore Planner to support offshore operations in Guyana. This opportunity is for a 4-6 month's contract to work offshore in Guyana.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop, maintain and monitor short-, medium- and long-term offshore maintenance plans and schedules;
  • Coordinate and prioritize planned maintenance activities based on operational requirements, equipment criticality and available resources;
  • Prepare and maintain detailed weekly and daily work schedules;
  • Monitor maintenance backlog, identify delays and potential constraints, and propose corrective actions;
  • Coordinate work planning with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE and other relevant offshore departments;
  • Ensure that required manpower, materials, tools, equipment and services are available before work execution;
  • Monitor progress of planned activities and update schedules according to operational priorities and changing conditions;
  • Support the planning of preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities;
  • Ensure proper integration of maintenance activities with production and operational constraints;
  • Follow up on work orders, maintenance notifications and planning status within the relevant CMMS;
  • Provide regular reports and planning updates to offshore and onshore management;
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning, resource utilization and overall schedule compliance;
  • Support shutdown, turnaround and campaign planning activities when required;
  • Ensure all planning activities are performed in accordance with company procedures, HSE requirements and applicable regulations;
  • Maintain accurate records of planning data, schedules, work orders and maintenance performance indicators.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Operations or a related field;
  • Previous experience as an Offshore Planner, Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Scheduler or similar position;
  • Experience in offshore oil & gas operations, preferably FPSO environments;
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling processes;
  • Experience working with CMMS/EAM systems, such as SAP PM, Maximo or similar;
  • Experience managing maintenance backlogs, work orders and resource requirements;
  • Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance processes;
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary offshore teams;
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in an international environment;
  • Fluent English is required;
