We’re hiring Night Drilling supervisor for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Barmer.

What are you going to do 

Position: Night Drilling supervisor

YOE: 10+ Years.

Contract: On Contract.

Location: Barmer.

Work Location: 21/21 On-Off

  • The Night Drilling supervisor is the Company Representative on the rig site and is responsible for the safe and cost-efficient execution of all Drilling / Completion / Work over related activities in accordance with the programme during night hours and also in absence of Senior Drilling Supervisor;
  • Excellent understanding of and Drilling and Workover operational management and Supervision;
  • Good understanding of PTW system & isolation requirements, hazard identification, STOP authority, Night driving practices and load lifting practices.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • University Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification;
  • Must have excellent command of the English Language (written and oral) combined with excellent communication skills;
  • Fully skilled in Well Engineering software’s and computer reporting. (EDM, Open Well, Excel etc.);
  • 10 + years well operations management experience. Min 3+ years’ experience as Night DS/Senior DS, out of which minimum 1 yrs International experience as a Night DS / Senior Tool Pusher is must. Earlier experience with Cairn’s RJ operations or cluster / pad drilling experience is preferred;
  • Proven personnel management skills;
  • Land rig drilling experience;
  • Proven project management skills;
  • Proven commercial awareness;
  • A natural drive for performance improvement;
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
  • Remote operation management experience.
