What are you going to do 

Our client is seeking Technical Engineering Technicians to support field operations at an industrial facility in Midland, Texas. This position is responsible for providing technical support for field operations, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and safe plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background with experience in industrial facilities such as oil and gas, chemical plants, refineries, manufacturing, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

* Support daily field operations and maintenance activities.

* Perform equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and mechanical evaluations.

* Assist engineering teams with field verification and technical support.

* Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

* Monitor equipment performance and identify equipment issues.

* Assist with equipment testing, commissioning, and startup activities.

* Maintain accurate field documentation and communicate findings with engineering and operations teams.

* Follow all safety procedures, operating practices, and site standards.

* Participate in an on call rotation as required.

Essential skills and knowledge 

* Mechanical field experience in an industrial environment.

* Experience working in manufacturing, chemical, refinery, oil and gas, or industrial facilities.

* Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment.

* Ability to work in a field environment.

* Willingness to work day or night shifts based on operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

* Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) experience.

* Industrial Engineering and Safety experience.

* Experience following operational procedures and plant processes.

* Previous experience supporting industrial operations or maintenance teams.
