Introduction

This is a hands-on engineering position supporting both existing and new product manufacturing, with a strong focus on production testing, troubleshooting, test fixture development, test equipment, and continuous improvement.

What are you going to do 

  • Troubleshoot product and test-station issues and support production problem-solving.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of test equipment.
  • Develop, improve, and document manufacturing test procedures.
  • Design, build, and document custom test fixtures, interface circuits, and test racks.
  • Evaluate and procure test equipment for production-line implementation.
  • Gather test requirements, review test standards, and develop test plans and procedures.
  • Analyze production test data and prepare technical reports.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly FPY and RTY reviews, analyze yield performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Review and approve Gauge R&R and MSA plans, including variable and attribute measurement studies.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve product and manufacturing issues.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree or relevant education in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production testing, or a related test engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of test and measurement techniques, particularly in power electronics.
  • Hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand.
  • Experience designing and building test fixtures and electrical interfaces.
  • Practical experience with test equipment such as:
    • AC/DC power sources and electronic loads
    • Power meters
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Electrical safety testers
    • DAQ systems
    • Environmental chambers
  • Strong ability in circuit and schematic analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of test fixture design.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally is an advantage.
