Introduction

  • Compression Head of Process Engineering is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of Process (including Brownfield tie-in design verification / validation) design and equipment technical and execution definition, selection, and design, including planning for Detailed Design, Procurement, Installation, and Testing / Commissioning of the Compression project/s.

What are you going to do

* Process design considers the full production life cycle of the Topsides/Pipeline / facilities as well as Flow Assurance activities for the production and fuel gas pipelines.* Provides Process Engineering direction, guidance and leadership to Compression project PMT for fieldwork within the assigned area.
* Develop fit-for-purpose process / technical engineering definition of surface facilities* Effectively collaborates and interfaces with Project team, Contractor, stakeholders as required to ensure that the Topsides and facilities scope of supply is fully integrated and optimized.
* Contributes to the development of Tender package development and technical evaluation.* Ensuring optimal delivery of Process and Surveillance engineering deliverables related to Topsides / Pipelines/ Surface Facilities with much of the work involving close collaboration with Contractor/s.
* Effective stewardship of Contract/s, ensuring contractor delivers Process and Flow Assurance design in accordance with project requirements, from contract award until delivery of Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC).* Risk based evaluation of complex technical issues that may have significant commercial impacts to overall project execution.
* Supervision of Process team ensuring delivery of technical input in accordance with project requirements while per plan.* Maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on overall delivery of the Topsides/ Pipeline /Facilities.
* Interface with other Projects and existing facilities* Works effectively within established policies and procedures and participates in the further development of these to meet changing needs.
* Demonstrates effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.* Works in a dynamic team environment that has high expectations for flawless project execution in Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule performance which requires the incumbent to demonstrate accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills.
* Understands organizational authority and seeks appropriate line management approvals.* Able to work in a defined role with limited supervision and guidance from the Compression Project PMT / Engineering Managers.
* Ability to work in a multi-faced/ multi-national organizational matrix with a variety of working relationships/ interfaces.* Provides Process engineering leadership and expertise while supervising and administering Process team.
* Effective stewardship of Contractor/s and delivers Process engineering and flow assurance design in accordance with project requirements, from contract award until delivery of Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC).* Supports Engineering Manager in monitoring the Contractor's progress on delivery of the required documents in the Process Engineering and flow assurance disciplines.
* Plans and schedules the Process engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.* Provides Process engineering leadership and expertise while supervising and administering Process team.
* Review and approval of contractor engineering deliverables/ simulations/ calculations, study reports and etc.* Performs process engineering and flow assurance studies, calculations, simulations, develop Basis of Design, Technical notes, adequacy assessment and etc. to support the project scope
* Leads key design workshop and ensure that Process design recommendations are correctly implemented and actions closed (Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).* General understanding of multi discipline engineering (mechanical/piping/ instrumentation /etc.) and ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
* Contributes to the development of Tender package development and technical evaluation.* Accountable for being knowledgeable of lessons learned from previous projects with the same contractor and capturing and communicating Process engineering and design lessons learned for the current project.
