Financial Analyst (12-month contract) Markham, ON (Hybrid)

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day trade and pricing activities, including pricing updates, promotions, and customer tracking
  • Assist with customer agreements, including documentation, approvals, and tracking
  • Analyze program and customer performance (rebates, accruals, reporting)
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders
  • Support product launch pricing and promotional analysis
  • Maintain data accuracy across systems and support reporting processes
  • Prepare presentations and reports for cross-functional teams
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and commercial processes
  • Support audits, documentation requests, and process improvements

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, finance, or another analytical role
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with data and reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills (dashboards, reporting); Power BI is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
  • Self-starter who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
