What are you going to do 

Working closely with the Pre-Construction and Delivery teams, you will play a key role in preparing accurate estimates, managing tender submissions, and supporting the successful delivery of projects ranging from minor works through to multi-million-dollar refurbishments.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost planning
  • Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities
  • Assist in tender presentations and contract negotiations
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Estimator working for a commercial head contractor
  • Previous experience delivering fitout and refurbishment projects valued up to $10M
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies and pricing
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
  • Relevant construction qualification preferred
