We’re hiring Environmental / Regulatory Advisor for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Bangalore/Chennai.

What are you going to do 

Position: Environmental / Regulatory Advisor;

YOE: 10 Years;

Contract: On Contract;

Location: Bangalore.

  • The Environmental, Regulatory & Socioeconomic (ER&S) Advisor provides key support to enable project concept selection, design, and execution;
  • The Advisor is responsible for identifying key environmental, regulatory and socioeconomic issues, developing approval strategies, implementing best practices and standards, identifying all requirements and working with the project to ensure permitting and ongoing regulatory compliance are achieved;
  • The Advisor works closely with many functions to achieve objectives and needs to have a sound technical background and the ability to communicate / influence effectively.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Exposure on Oil & gas/petrochemical/refinery/any industrial, should worked with Environmental and regulatory matters.
  • candidate MUST come with 10 years’ experience on Environmental & Regulatory (E&R) activities;
  • A recognized University degree in Engineering, Natural or Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management, Social Sciences (e.g., anthropology, sociology) or some other technical field related to ER&S management;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Demonstrated broad technical, ER&S, and health skills with a working knowledge of project management, construction, and operations;
  • Broad-based work experience in oil & gas operations, with prior experience in one or more ER&S / SSH&E disciplines;
  • Proven management and leadership skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to influence without authority - persuasive with strong business perspective;
  • Adaptable to changing priorities;
  • Ability to assess and act on project resource needs;
  • Experience in interacting with government officials;
  • Willing and able to travel and/or relocate internationally.
